On Saturday morning, the Denver Police Department made an announcement regarding an ongoing investigation into a homicide/shooting incident that occurred near E. 39th Avenue. Six individuals were shot in the incident.
Officers from the DPD were dispatched to 12445 East 39th Avenue in response to a shooting incident that occurred around 1:37 a.m. on Saturday.

Upon the arrival of the officers, they discovered a deceased victim with evident gunshot injuries at the scene.
According to the DPD, it was later discovered that five more victims had taken themselves to nearby hospitals. Tragically, two of them were pronounced dead upon arrival, while the remaining three are anticipated to recover from their injuries.
According to DPD, there are initial reports suggesting that a gathering took place at an industrial storefront, where evidence suggests that multiple firearms were discharged.

No arrests have been made yet as authorities are investigating to determine the reason behind the shooting and identify those involved.
