After a three-game absence caused by a lacerated liver, Travis Hunter, the versatile player for the Colorado Buffaloes, made a triumphant return by scoring a 24-yard pass from Shedeur Sanders against Stanford. This touchdown granted the Buffs a comfortable 14-0 advantage over Stanford.
The versatile player sustained the injury in September during a game against Colorado State University. The injury occurred due to an illegal hit delivered late while attempting a catch on the sideline.

To begin the game, Hunter positioned himself as a defensive back after the Buffaloes chose to defer to the second half and Stanford gained possession of the ball. It has been reported that he actively participated in every play on both offense and defense until he was unfortunately forced to leave the field due to an injury.
The renowned player successfully made his debut touchdown of the season courtesy of Sanders’ assist, and also managed to secure one interception against TCU. Prior to getting injured during the CSU game, he accumulated an impressive 213 yards in receiving.
