We have successfully reached the weekend! Wow, this Saturday morning was quite cold! Denver experienced its initial official freeze as the temperature dropped to 29 degrees at DIA for the day’s lowest temperature.
In the morning, expect a combination of sunshine and a few clouds, including a small wave cloud over the Front Range. This cloud cover could potentially hinder the visibility of the partial annular eclipse at 10:36 am.
It’s time to kickstart our day with a warm up. Colorado can expect a pleasantly cool yet mostly sunny Saturday ahead. Although a few scattered clouds may appear throughout the day, they won’t dampen the overall sunny outlook.
Our lower elevations will experience temperatures ranging from the 50s to nearly 60, while the mountains will see mostly 40s to low 50s.
Starting from Sunday, a warming trend will prevail until the middle of next week. Temperatures will rise to near normal levels on Sunday and surpass normal levels on Monday and Tuesday. In fact, the Denver metro area might even reach close to 80 degrees on Tuesday!
There is a slight chance for a few showers as the next cold front approaches on Wednesday.
