The CEO of Denver International Airport, Phil Washington, recently provided details about the new checkpoint. He emphasized that it will incorporate cutting-edge technology and be capable of processing passengers through security twice as fast as the existing checkpoints in the Jeppesen Terminal.
He mentioned that he believes there will be a decrease in the long wait times people have been facing while trying to get through security lines in the past few years.
There will be a total of 17 lanes available for travelers at the new checkpoint.
Every year, Denver International Airport witnesses a growing number of air travelers passing through its facilities. According to Washington, it is evident that individuals have made a deliberate choice to embark on their journeys.
The airport currently has three checkpoints open for regular air travelers in the terminal: North and South on Level 5 and the Bridge Security Checkpoint on Level 6.
