The particular director regarding operations to the newest
The state of illinois sports betting firm told PlayIllinois that Circa Sportsbook can be bringing anything unique towards the Prairie Point out.
“We are going to be able to provide bettors with our software and physical location right away, and what we’re ultimately going to be able to develop is a sportsbook that I would say is about 80-85% of what we currently have here at Circa (Las Vegas),” said Jeff Benson, referring to the luxurious retail sportsbook operated by the company in Nevada, which includes the famous Stadium Swim.
“We believe it’s going to be a real game-changer for people in the Midwest. We think it will generate a lot of business for us.”
Circa has obtained its license to operate online sports betting and retail sports wagering in Illinois. The Nevada-based sportsbook operator received its sports wagering management services provider license from the Illinois Gaming Board.
Benson stated that the goal is for Circa to launch operations sometime in August. He mentioned that the company is eager to expand its presence to Illinois.
Circa will establish an online sportsbook in Illinois and open a retail sportsbook at the Temporary by American Place Casino, a Full House Resorts property in Waukegan that opened on February 17th.
Circa’ ersus Jeff Benson: “ We’re within it for the very long game. ”
When Circa launches in Illinois, it will become the 8th legal online sportsbook in the state, putting the operator in a competitive position. The market isn’t saturated with sports wagering options.
Benson highlighted the company’s customer service and reassured Circa Sports customers that they won’t face restrictions or be banned if they win big. He mentioned that they continue to expand their betting offerings, but they don’t have any intentions of directly challenging the “big boys” of the sports betting industry.
“I don’t think we’re ever going to be in the category of a FanDuel or DraftKings in terms of the depth of our menu,” said Benson. “But anything we put on our board, you’re going to get a fair bet. For us, a fair bet is not $2.37. We believe a fair bet is to win a substantial amount.”
Benson said that Circa will bring something different to the Illinois market that hasn’t been seen yet, although he acknowledges that they won’t appeal to everyone.
“We’re in it for the long game. We’re never going to be able to match or out-bonus the ‘big boys,’ and that’s definitely something we don’t want to try to do,” said Benson. “For us, it’s about being ourselves, being authentic, and doing the things that we believe are important and resonate with our customers.”
Just what Circa can be expecting through the Illinois Gambling market
Once Circa Sports goes live in Illinois, the goal is to launch the online gambling app and the retail location simultaneously. Hopefully, this will happen just in time for the start of the 2023 NFL season.
When asked what Circa expects from the people of Illinois, Benson said they simply can’t wait for people to participate.
“We just expect people to come and bet. It’s really as simple as that,” said Benson. “We hope people are price-sensitive. We hope to serve and cater to any bettors who can’t find value elsewhere in Illinois.”
Benson also mentioned that Circa doesn’t mind operating on the lower end of the profit spectrum. He added that they are fine with people turning to them only when they have the best odds.
“We’ll take any and all business we can get, and we’ll be grateful for anyone who chooses us,” said Benson.
Benson mentioned that there are still several regulatory steps to go through with the Illinois Gaming Board before the final launch, including obtaining approval for software licensing. However, he stated that things are moving in the right direction. We’ll just have to see where the journey takes us in the coming months.
