According to data collected by the Montana Department of Transportation, last year, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport in Belgrade continued to maintain its position as Montana’s busiest airport. However, hundreds of thousands of passengers also arrived at various other airports across Montana.

Although Billings continues to be the largest city in the state, its Billings-Logan International Airport ranked as the fourth-busiest airport in Montana in terms of passenger arrivals in 2022. The Missoula Airport and Glacier Park International Airport in Kalispell surpassed Billings in terms of passenger traffic. However, both Kalispell and Missoula experienced more significant fluctuations in passenger numbers throughout the seasons, with the majority of their traffic occurring during the summer tourism season.
