It’s obvious that Super Bowl commercials are a significant part of the Big Game, and Super Bowl LVI, taking place this Sunday, is no exception. One of the hot topics at this year’s event is sure to be the discussion of the best and worst Super Bowl ads. It should come as no surprise that Caesars Sportsbook is one of the confirmed advertisers, as it marks the brand’s first-ever Super Bowl commercial.
Caesars Sportsbook Very Bowl business teaser
So, you’re probably wondering which Hollywood stars and former professional athletes will be appearing in the Caesars Sportsbook commercial. Well, it should come as no surprise that the star-studded lineup includes actor and comedian JB Smoove and Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry. They will be joined by “the legendary first family of football,” the Mannings (Archie, Cooper, Eli, Peyton). Those who have watched NFL games during the 2022 season are already familiar with the current ads featuring Caesar (Smoove), Cleopatra (Berry) and their special guests (the Mannings).
According to the report, this Super Bowl commercial will introduce a new installment of Caesars Sportsbook’s popular “Caesar and Cleo” campaign. However, there is no mention of Carl (portrayed by Patton Oswalt). Perhaps he asked one too many questions about Caesars Rewards?
The spot is scheduled to air during the first quarter of Super Bowl LVI. Unfortunately, PlayNJ does not have an advance preview of the TV spot, so you’ll have to plan your food and beverage breaks during one of the other quarters.
Telling typically the Caesars Sportsbook story
Securing a TV spot during the biggest American gaming event of the year doesn’t come cheap. According to published reports, a 30-second spot can cost as much as $7 million. Yes, $7 million. However, advertisers are well aware that millions of fans across the U.S. will be watching.
For Caesars Sportsbook, Super Bowl Sunday provides the perfect opportunity to build up its NJ sports betting following. “We’re an entertainment company first and foremost, but we are also storytellers, and this commercial gives us the ultimate opportunity to showcase family, fun, and football on the world’s largest stage. We’re excited to debut another episode of our iconic campaign and hope it will be the topic of conversation on Monday after the game,” said Sharon Otterman, Chief Marketing Officer of Caesars Digital.
But wait, there’s more. In addition to advertising during the Big Game, Caesars Sportsbook will debut a 30-second commercial featuring Halle Berry. This spot will air during another popular Super Bowl weekend event – Puppy Bowl. It will support the Friends Animal Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to animal rescue and adoption.
The brand’s responsible gaming advertising featuring the Mannings will also run, highlighting the company’s decades-long commitment to responsible gaming.
Typically the Caesars Sportsbook family and group of musicians is still growing
When it comes to major online sports betting, there is no doubt that the Caesars Sportsbook brand is one of the biggest names out there. Few would argue that the brand is part of the “big four” alongside DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM. And it’s almost certain that all three companies will have at least one Super Bowl Sunday commercial.
Like its competitors, the Caesars Sportsbook platform is available in various forms in jurisdictions where sports betting is legal, including New York. In total, it operates in 22 states and jurisdictions, with 16 of them offering mobile betting.
As for the Caesars Sportsbook marketing, the pairing of Caesar and Cleo with the Mannings represents the royal family of sports betting advertising. You can judge for yourself during Sunday’s game between the Bengals and Rams.
