This Saturday marked another rain-soaked day, making it our sixth consecutive weekend drenched in precipitation. It has been nearly two months since we last enjoyed a fully dry weekend.
The rain is expected to persist throughout the night, but it will gradually reduce in both extent and strength as we approach the early hours of Sunday morning. Currently, the average amount of rainfall has ranged from half an inch to an inch. There is a possibility of receiving up to a half inch of additional rainfall.
Late tonight, as temperatures fall into the 40s, the winds will begin to pick up.
After experiencing early morning showers on Sunday, the sky will become clearer during the afternoon. The winds will intensify, occasionally gusting between 25-35 mph. Anticipate temperatures ranging from the upper 50s to low 60s, accompanied by a combination of sunshine and clouds.
There is a chance of slight coastal flooding at our nearby beaches until Sunday afternoon due to the strong winds pushing water towards the shore.
