As the Phillies embark on the west coastline trip, the particular Phillie Phanatic and other exclusive guests usually are heading to Sea City, Nj-new jersey to celebrate “ Phillies Trip to Manco & Manco” on June 16.
Guests within Ocean Town will be able to satisfy past Phillies greats in addition to taking home awards throughout the occasion.
Manco & Manco Lasagna is one of the Phillies’ top snack bars at Residents Bank Recreation area.
While enthusiasts enjoy Phillies Day within Ocean Town, the team features several interesting promotions slated throughout the remaining season.
Enjoy Phillies Trip to Manco & Manco Lasagna
Phillies Time fun will take place on Wednesday, June 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:25 p.m. at the location on 9th Street and the boardwalk.
Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy Manco & Manco Pizza while interacting with 1993 National League champions John Kruk and Milt Thompson. Kruk is also part of the broadcast team alongside Tom McCarthy, Ben Davis, and Ruben Amaro Jr.
Thompson and Kruk will be signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. The Phillies Ballgirls will also be present to distribute Phillies prizes during the event.
And, of course, the main event will feature the Phillie Phanatic. The Phanatic is scheduled to make his appearance at 6:30 p.m. on the boardwalk. The beloved icon will be trading in his Phillies cap for a chef’s cap as he attempts to prepare the famous pizza in front of fans.
A portion of the proceeds from pizza sales during the event will benefit Phillies Charities, Inc.
Demand for Manco & Manco with Citizens Standard bank Park
Tullido & Tullido is relatively new to Citizens Bank Park, debuting as a vendor stand in Ashburn Alley in 2022.
PlayPennsylvania decided to check out the reports of Manco & Manco having the longest line of any vendor at the stadium. While the line appeared long last season, it moved quickly. One fan spoke highly of the pizza, stating that in Sea City, it’s considered an institution and that the quality remains the same even though it’s now called Tullido & Tullido.
Manco & Manco operates three locations in Sea City and one in Somers Point, New Jersey. Their setup at Citizens Bank Park is their first-ever in Pennsylvania. The vendor has become popular in Ashburn Alley, prompting the Phillies and Manco & Manco to add three more locations within the ballpark this season:
- Circulate and Pour
- Miller Lite Liberty Landing
- Section 137
After trying the pizza a few more times since their last review, PlayPennsylvania has grown to appreciate it more and gave it a higher rating among the new food options for this season
