In a bid to expand its US presence, Lotto.com incorporated three more states into its fold last month: Arizona , New York, and Colorado.
The Arizona Lottery is one of only a few ways a Texan can gamble legally in The Lone Star State. The state does not sell tickets online directly. Lotto.com becomes another third-party vendor open to Texans wishing to purchase lottery tickets online.
A different way to get Texas Lotto tickets
The New Jersey-based startup company utilizes a specialized approach to how people participate in the lottery. It boasts itself as the first digital platform for ordering lottery tickets online without an app nor deposit. According to a recent press release:
“With a modern approach to buying official state lottery tickets for New Jersey, New York, Arizona, and Colorado state lotteries, Lotto.com offers popular, large jackpot games including Powerball and Mega Millions.”
Lotto.com CEO Thomas Metzger thinks it was the perfect time for the expansion given the frenzy around the billion-dollar Mega Million jackpot:
“The ability to launch in three new states this year is a milestone we’re extremely proud of. We see an enormous opportunity to reach new lottery players, both virtually and in-person, in New York, Arizona, and Colorado.”
Metzger also suggested that there was more in store for 2022. The company expects to launch Lotto.com in additional states before the end of the year.

Recently, Lotto.com launched Player Cafe, a modern convenience store that serves as a one-stop shop for lottery tickets, coffee, scratch-offs, snacks, beverages, and more. The company partners with local retailers, businesses, and corporations to provide these services.
The locations of Player Cafe include Manhattan, N.Y., Edgewater, Colo., and Cedar Park, Texas. Lottery players in these areas can enjoy unique activations, such as scratch-off bars and monthly events.
Lotto.com’s expansion news came just one day after a rival, Jackpocket, sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $3 million in New York using their app. The winning ticket matched five out of five white numbers drawn in the July 22 Mega Millions drawing but missed the Mega Ball. The player had added the $1 Megaplier to their ticket, tripling their winnings to a cool $3 million.
