Experts predict that the city of Danville will experience a $39 million economic boost by 2024. Looking specifically at the next fiscal year, authorities project $12.1 million in revenue for the city.
For those eagerly awaiting a new record, the current single-month high for Virginia casino revenue stands at $38.4 million, which was achieved in February when Rivers Casino Portsmouth opened.
