Connecticut has five active brick-and-mortar sportsbooks. Earlier this week, the Connecticut Lottery, SugarHouse Sportsbook, and Sportech also opened two Bobby V’s sportsbooks.
Guests 21 years of age and older in Stamford and Windsor Locks can now place bets in real-time at the kiosks and ticket windows at each location.
With these locations in operation, the Lottery can focus its attention on opening more sites.

They are the second and third CT Lottery-Sportech-SugarHouse collaborations to open for the betting business. The first was Sports Haven in New Haven, which started accepting bets on Monday.
Bobby V’s in Windsor Locks opened on Thursday, followed by the Stamford location on Friday.
Each site offers over 20 self-service betting kiosks and a single betting window inside the on-site Winners Racebook.
Just like on the SugarHouse Sportsbook website, you must be at least 21 years old to bet on sports at either location. Additionally, if you participate in the state’s betting self-exclusion program, you cannot participate.
The hours for the Windsor Locks location are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The Stamford establishment, located at 268 Atlantic St, is open:
- Sundays: 10: 30 a new. m. in order to 11 l. m.
- Monday – Thursdays: 4 l. m. in order to 11 l. m.
- Friday/saturday: 11: 31 a. mirielle. to night time
At both locations, the Winners guide is available during the same hours. Now that the involved parties have gotten the ball rolling on these retail locations, that momentum should carry to other parts of the state soon.
Those who win set to extend betting choices elsewhere inside CT
A number of other Sportech locations in Connecticut also currently offer Winners Racebooks and will be adding sports betting under the CT Lottery/SugarHouse branding to their menus of betting options.
Winners’ website states that sports betting is “coming soon” to the following sites:
- Hartford
- Manchester
- Milford
- New Great britain
- Norwalk
- Torrington
- Waterbury
The law gives the CT Lottery around 15 retail spots.
Currently, there is no public news regarding when the other locations might begin taking bets on sporting events. The Lottery has also not disclosed any additional future locations besides the Sportech venues.
If the Lottery does realize its full potential for retail betting, Connecticut residents can someday have their choice of up to 17 brick-and-mortar sportsbooks in addition to the three online options.
